Hi, I’m Erica.
I discovered ADHD coaching after my own late ADHD diagnosis aged 43 (and more recently wondering if I could be AuDHD).
I have always just ‘got on’, quietly (or loudly) doing life. And there have been many good times. But I have also had children, cats, dogs, addictions (overcome - yay!), depression, anxiety, a divorce and a whole load of other stuff along the way.
I was the classic people pleaser, trained as a Nurse, specialised in Palliative Care and gave my all to people. But I was burnt out. Completely. Actually, I’d been in burnout lots of times before but I just hadn’t recognised the cycle!
I had a rethink, left the NHS and now work part-time as a nurse for a small cancer charity. I loved the bit of workplace coaching I did in one of my NHS roles and wanted to learn more. So here I am. I took a leap (one of the many in my life!!) and signed up for an ADHD Coaching course and loved it.
DISCLAIMER!!! I am not a therapist….But I am a certified ADHD coach and an NMC registered nurse. I am also a human with all sorts of lived experience who will be along side you as you work out what it means to be you.
I member of the Universal Coaching Alliance (UCA) and the Association for Coaching (AC). I work within the UCA’s Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics and am also a member of ANUCA, a specialist professional community for coaches working with, or living with, ADHD and neurodiversity.
